En un Rincón del Cole

Siempre se dijo, que los niños van al colegio a aprender esas cosas de la vida, que les hagan ser hombres y mujeres de provecho el día de mañana.
Pero ha llegado un punto, en el que se nos ha olvidado enseñarles aquellas otras cosas que, en épocas pasadas, los niños aprendían en casa de sus padres y abuelos y no era otra que cuidar y respetar la tierra que nos da de comer cada día
It was always said, that children go to school to learn those things in life, make them be men and women of good tomorrow.
But it has reached a point where we forgot to teach those other things that, in the past, children learned in the homes of their parents and grandparents, was none other than to care for and respect the land that feeds us every day
Por suerte en nuestro cole, tenemos un rinconcito dedicado a eso, a aprender a cultivar la tierra y ver, como, día a día, el milagro de la vida resurge cada primavera, fruto de una semilla introducida en el “humus”, ese sustrato vivo del que el “humano” es un fruto indirecto.
Fortunately in our cole, we have a little corner dedicated to it, learn to cultivate the land and see, like, every day, the miracle of life emerges each spring, the fruit of a seed put into the "humus" that live substrate that "human" is an indirect result.
Ese huerto ecológico, que nuestros peques van visitando y cuidando paulatinamente a lo largo del curso, permite mantener una conexión directa con la madre tierra, dentro de esa jungla de asfalto que es la ciudad y poder entender, más allá de las buenas fotos del mejor de los libros, que la comida, esa que nos mantiene vivitos y coleando, no se fabrica en los supermercados.
This organic garden, that our kids are visiting and looking steadily throughout the course, keeps a direct connection with Mother Earth, within the concrete jungle that is the city and to understand, beyond the great pictures of the best books, the food, that keeps us alive and kicking, not made in supermarkets.

Reunion Fin de Curso 2011-2012 de Padres y Profesores

Hola:
En el cuadro adjunto se detalla el listado de las fechas y horas en que se va a realizar en el colegio Jueces de Castilla, la reunión de fin de curso entre profesores y padres/madres de alumnos por cada clase.
Para los alumnos de infantil y de 1º, 2º y 3º de primaria, el AMPA ha contratado una cuidadora durante el tiempo que dure la reunión.

Hace falta toda una tribu, para educar a un niño.

Ese antiguo proverbio africano que dice "Hace falta toda una tribu, para educar a un niño", nos recuerda que nuestro actual sistema socio-educativo, puede tener algún problema, si nuestros hijos no sienten que están integrados en un grupo social de un determinado tamaño. 
La ciudad hace mucho tiempo que traspaso los límites de la aldea y el colegio se ha convertido en ese Agora al que los niños acuden cada mañana, a reunirse con sus amigos y recibir de los Maestros el co-nocimiento en las artes y las ciencias, es decir, el “saber común” sobre el mundo en el que vivimos. Los padres irán a su quehaceres cotidianos, el mundo seguirá dando vueltas y la vida …fluyendo.
En los albores del S XXI, puede que el Consejo Escolar y la Asociacon de Padres y Madres del Cole se estén convirtiendo en aquel ancestral “Consejo de Ancianos” que toda tribu debe tener y que aporta la sabiduría grupal necesaria para sacar adelante la siguiente generación, por lo que resulta interesante la participación de todos los padres y madres del Colegio P. Jueces de Castilla en las actividades del Colegio y como no, también de las del AMPA.

That old African proverb "It takes a whole tribe to raise a child" reminds us that our current socio-educational system, may have a problem, if our children do not feel they are integrated into a social group of a given size.
The city has long transfer limits of the village and the school has become the Agora to which children come every morning, to meet friends and receive from the Masters co-knowledge in the arts and sciences, ie the "common knowledge" about the world in which we live. Parents will go to your everyday life, the world will continue spinning and life ... flowing.
At the beginning of S XXI, can the School Board and Parent Asociacon Cole Mothers are becoming one ancestral "Council of Elders" that every tribe should have and provides the group wisdom necessary to move forward with the next generation , so it is interesting the participation of all parents of the College P. Judges of Castile in the College's activities and of course, also those of the AMPA.
