I have entered "The Beast" Stage...

So, I have entered "The Beast" Stage....I feel like maybe I am jumping ahead of myself because my size will probably double when I get to the dreaded "End...." Then I'll be in the "Mammoth" Stage. lol People look surprised when I tell them I'm only 18 weeks-I get looks like "Wow....you're huge!" hahaha. I just tell myself it's because I such a short torso! BUT I am always eating...I guess that would contribute to the weight gain! lol 
I've also been retaining water...what is that about?! My fingers look like little sausage links and if you notice-I have taken off my wedding ring. It doesn't fit on my finger anymore :( I'm afraid if I leave it on, I won't be able to take it off sometime soon! haha.
We will find out what we are having in a week or two....a boy....a girl....a puppy....We'd be happy with any of those! haha. I still like to pretend that the stork will bring my baby and that I won't have to go through the awful labor-because it's terrifying-and everything will be nice, clean and PAIN-FREE.
I am excited for my next ultrasound also to see the size of this baby! I feel like it's huge! I haven't felt the flutter that people talk about(the first movements), but it should happen anyday now. I hear that it feels like something is crawling around in your stomach! hahaha. Weeeeiirrrdddd....I also probably wouldn't even know what I was feeling anyways-I'm clueless! haha.
I've started exercising again (yyaaayyy) because the cellulite on my butt and legs is out of control!!! I HAD to do something about it. The baby doesn't like to exercise though, and it let me know yesterday when I almost puked my guts out....punishment!!! hahaha. On the plus side, it's starting to get warmer here (80s :) ) and I can FINALLY go to the beach and get my tan on!!! Belly and All!!!!
Enough about the baby! Zac and the puppies are doing really well! Unfortunately, Zac and I haven't been able to see much of each other lately because of our work schedules. I've been teaching a lot of night classes-I work about 45 hours per week and drive two hours a day to get to and from work. It makes for quite a long day(and week)! But I give myself a lot of credit-because it's NOT easy! Sometimes, I know that I overdue it-but I love my job and my coworkers! AND my PAYCHECK!!!! HOLLLAAA :)
Zac has been really busy with his new platoon and he seems to really be enjoying his new guys, which is great :) He has been so sweet and understanding-I'm a lucky girl! I actually think he might be a little afraid of me....I'm not a very nice pregnant lady! haha. Sometimes the hormones are OUT of CONTROL! I feel like a crazy person running around on crack....one minute I'm flying and angry....then the next minute, I'm crashing and crying my eyes out! NO WONDER ZAC IS AFRAID OF ME! hahaha!!!
I'm pretty sure that the puppies know that there's sometime different about me. Peanut has been velcro-ed to me lately, and she loves to lay next to my tummy or rest her head on it. hahaha. Her own personal pillow!!! I think she can hear/feel the baby's heart beart or hear it moving around. I love that dog!!! She is the definition of man's (woman's) best friend :) Emma doesn't know what the hell is going on...she just runs around like the world is her playground....she's so happy-go-lucky....and special ;) hahaha. Love her.
Ok, since I've talked your ear off and have breakfast plans with a friend-I gotta get goin! God knows it takes me forever to get ready!

14 Weeks, People!!!

Fourteen weeks, and twenty-six to go!!! And I just keep getting bigger!!!! lol They tell me thats a good thing...."they" being everyone. But I don't like it! haha. I'm 14 weeks-and don't be surprised if you think, "Hm...she looks bigger than that...." because apparently it's a common thought among people. And they're not afraid to blurt it out to me every time I tell someone new. I'm just gonna go with the fact that I have a short waist and will soon look like a potato on legs! lol
I went to Maternal-Fetal Medicine a couple weeks ago and just got my results back this past week that I do not have the extra clotting factor that my mom has! Yay! That's a good thing for you non-medical people out there. She has an extra clotting factor that causes her to make too much and caused her two Pulmonary Embolisms(blood clots that traveled to her lungs) last year after her surgery. If I had it, I would have had to give myself Lovenox(blood thinner) injections twice per day because pregnancy increases the instance of blot clots. Small needle-no big deal...but I like "no needles" better :) It would be just like giving myself insulin injections!
I'm hoping to start exercising again....hoping being the key word!! lol I'm also hoping to get my big butt off the couch to do so! lol And it's nice that we've turned the clocks back and now have more sunlight during the day-even though I still go to bed while it's light out! lol
ANNNDDD with the summer weather coming, I can go to the beach and tan my pale body!!!!! yyyaaayyy!!!! I've decided I don't care anymore that I'm a chunky monkey on the beach-because I can fix that in about 26 weeks! lol
Zac and the ladies are doing well!!! Zac is getting promoted on Monday to 1st Lt!! YYAAYYY! I'm very proud and a pay raise couldn't have come at a better time!!! I'm about to go take food to him because he has duty today through tomorrow morning. I know what you're thinking....Great Wife....Wife of the Year....Zac's so Lucky....all of the above....hahaha!

So...this is my first blog. I've never blogged before, but a friend of mine does and her stories always crack me up. So she inspired me to start my own and I figured it would be a great way to keep up with friends and family across the nation! PLUS, Zac and I just found out that I'm PREGNANT (woah! I know, we were surprised too lol) and I thought that you guys would love to know what's going on throughout the pregnancy, with the doggies, with the marine corps and with my new job :) That's right people, our lives are turning UP-SIDE-DOWN! But at least we live in beautiful, sunny, warm North Carolina...where it is currently down-pouring...you can't win 'em all...but at least its a cozy morning with the puppies.
So for those of you who don't know, and just found out...I'm pregnant. We found out a couple weeks ago, and although I don't have an appointment at the OB/GYN until February 27th, I think I'm due at the end of September. I'm approximately 7 weeks right now, still very early. We contemplated not telling people for about 5 more weeks, but I can't keep a secret like that...and Zac couldn't keep that secret for 5 minutes. haha. Love him, he's sooooo excited. It's adorable. As for me, I'm sick and tired all the time-which I've heard is a good sign...unless you're the one who's sick and tired all the time!
Ok, I need to go work out before this baby destroys my body. I have a feeling I will be a beast soon :(
