Preview: Avicii - Levels (Henrik B Remix)

03 March 2012 07:30:00

Possibly the biggest tune from last year, Levels has been again transformed into an emphatic club record. The original by Avicii has got people from all over the world humming along to his emotive melody and with the sampling of the late Etta James' vocals, he made an amazing Progressive House track. However the original was not enough for Henrik B, the Spanish house maestro put his spin on this track completely, only remaning factors are the melody and sampled vocal. This edit has really changed my perspective of Henrik, I for one cannot wait until it is released, for now here he is playing it live at Globen.

Not long ago we brought you the Progressive House anthem Calling, and it was one of their best songs from last year. Well now it's creator's Sebastian Ingrosso and Alessohave included Ryan Tedder in the act, completely re-inventing the original. Tedder, the singer in renowned band One Republic, has written and performed the lyrics to Calling (Lose My Mind) scintillatingly well. If you thought the instrumental version was good, you have got no idea how good this version is. The highly promising collaboration between mentor and apprentice Ingrosso and Alesso have another upcoming track called Eclipse, this time including Steve Angello in on the act.
