Every Monday at 18.00 we have class "graphics for architects" hence the idea thatwe had planned for this exercise was to create a window where "supposedly" could see the Galerjia. In addition to show the way, we would put a red ribbon marking the way to lead the way.

To mark the way we would use red adhesive tape. In addition to knowing which dooris right we put on the doorknob a vase with a red flower.

CIEN AÑOS DE SOLEDAD. Book as a brand (public space)

"Cien años de Soledad" (1967) is the story of seven generations of the Buendía Family in the town of Macondo. The secret message informed the recipient of every fortune and misfortune lived by the Buendía Family generations.

With the book, we wanted to explain that every human being in your life is birth and death. With this we assimilate to a tree, the tree blooms in spring (birth) and dies in the winter when completely naked without leaves.

With the leaves falling from the tree, we create a pavement in Ljubljana that leads a person to different bookshops where you can supposedly buy the book.

With different recyclable materials we choose two objects that could be useful forurban space and in a simple way.
The first, the chair use different bars attached cardboard made up this chair.

The second, smaller, is a birdhouse using a crital jar with a box of CDs.

Do you know how to cook one autentique TORTILLA ESPAÑOLA? We think that it can be a good idea, because Katja is from Slovenia and she didn't know how to cook it. With this video, I hope everybody can cook one. Good Luck! =)

ALPS (Film Poster)

On November 14th, we went to see an original movie called "Alps". From the plot of the movie, we had to create a new poster, reflecting the argument. The film was about a group of people who supplanted the personality of people who had died. Thus, thefamily did not suffer the death of a family so hard.

Therefore, we think the idea of the mask, as a way to "cover" the true identity and show a completely different identity. Also the texture is grainy, scattered as we wanted the film when we saw it.

Here, I put the argument, the trailer for the film and the two posters.

Argument:

"The film "The Alps", which is the fourth feature film of George Lanthimos, will participate in the upcoming festival in Venice (August 31st to September 10th). Two years after "Dogtooth" in Cannes, Lanthimos is "knocking on the door" of a second leading European Film Festival. This is a great success if we take into account the movies, but also the people whom the film will compete with during the film festival. You never know where to start and where to end. There will also be Roman Polanski with his film «Carnage» and Jodie Foster, Kate Winslet, George Clooney in the film «Ides of March», in which he plays himself together with Ryan Gosling, David Cronenberg with the movie «A dangerous method» and Viggo Mortensen and Keira Knightley, William Friedkin with the movie «Killer Joe» (starring Matthew McConaughey), but also Tomas Alfredsson with the long-awaited «Tinker tailor soldier spy», based on the novel by John Le Carré with selected cast: Gary Oldman, Peter Firth, Tom Hardy, John Hurt. According Feelgood Entrtainment, the summary of the "Alps" is: "When the end is near, the Alps are here. A nurse, a genitor, a rhythmic gymnastics athlete and her coach have created a group. They replace dead people. They are recruited by the friends and relatives of the dead. The group is called the Alps and its leader, the genitor is called Mont Blanc. Group members are obliged to act according to rules set by the leader. The nurse does not obey these rules." "The Alps" will make its premiere in Greek cinemas on 27th of October. The cast consists of Ariane Labelle, Anggeliki Papoulia and Aris Servetalis, and the script is the work of Efthimis Filippou and George Lanthimos, who also collaborated in the movie "Dogtooth". Let us remind that last year at the film festival in Venice also participated the movie «Attenberg» by Athina Rachel Tsangari, in which the leading parts were performed by Lanthimos and Labelle, and the latter received an award for her performance".
