(More customer reviews)I have been waiting for technology to catch up and allow a non-geek to use their old SLR lenses (in this case, Zeiss, originally for Contax RTS)with a modern digital SLR body. This one works without hassle, once you find out what to expect (there absolutely no information in the package, but you can get it from the Fotodiox website - the main thing is that the AF confirmation will only work with apertures greater than about 8). There were no problems with loose fitting. Getting the ring off the Canon body is easy, but it is a bit of a fiddle getting the ring off the lens (having got so far with designing the thing, a little button or lever to help this wouldn't go amiss). Amazing value compared with all the other geeky stuff about.

Sri Lankan culture and a mildly climatic Karate fight to the death make for an exotic Eurospy with an added Martial Art film layer, in this addition to the Kommissar X series. The Karate theme is a lot of fun, and the fight scene choreography is of exceptional quality. In addition, there is a surprising and impressive handling of the sets towards the latter part, helping to appease anyone that may’ve been bothered by the film’s sometimes busy and hard to follow story.

Despite too many cigarette jokes that miss the mark, the movie is a good example as to how the common pairing between Tony Kendall and Brad Harris can start to have a growing effect on the viewer, inducing the viewer to want to track down other filmed efforts between the action couple.

Tiny obsessions: Vintage Barbie Lingerie

1968 Talking Barbie, dressed in a piece of #1821 Underliners from 1968 I tend to be a little obsessive in my doll collecting habits. My current obsession for my vintage collection has been lingerie and sleepwear. I have several interesting collector books--probably my favorite author is Hillary Shilkitus James--which helpfully encourage my rather obsessive behavior.

Variations are particularly interesting to me at the moment--I'd love to add a few 1970s Perfect Beginnings Pak variations to my collection. These adorable Paks include a bra in a varity of prints (Color Magic, Dreamy Pink, The Combination, Style Setters, Twiggy Turnouts, Border Line, Floating Gardens, and pale pink), matching panty, nylon ruffled petticoat, and talc powder with puff. My first one is on the way--Floating Gardens.
